Hi guys,
I just show you a video of my reenactment association doing this big event every year near Bastogne.

If you don't want to spend time watching the whole video, go to 9:50, to hear how it actually sounds. RO2 is quite good, and it's true some people don't know how it actually sound, being too used to hollywood'sounds.

I know we're shooting blank, but it gives you the idea.
Hope you enjoy this video.:)

ps: I'm the guy reloading his springfield at 10:34.

edit: damn forgot the link....lol

Yes! The game sounds perfect. And actualy alot of the sound issues are in fact due to using onboard sound chips. I am using an Asus Xonar DS sound card with Bose 2.1 speakers and the sounds, sound simply amazing! No loss of sounds or anything like that. ..

Since the latest patch I can faintly hear gunshots if I turn my speakers up as high as they go...

it depends what microphone u use to record the sounds...

from where you record it (above under on the side...)

and if there are objects which reflect sound...

Also many microphones used in ordinary cameras can't handle the volume resulting in really weird sounds.

Not in this vid though...although you can hear the difference to live rounds.
