Setting up ATI graphic cards.

To get the best I could in graphic quality and speed I have forced my AA to 4 and my AF to 8 from my control panel. All in game settings are set to high.

This seems to give a nice sharp image at a fair frame rate.

Has anyone else found the perfect setting for ATI cards?

i got Everything on Ultra (unticked everything except Bloom and Thread lag)

and get 20 - 40 framerate what do u get?

Asus 6950 DirecuII 1gb
Amd phenom x4 4.0Ghz 965 (guess mine is up from you one?)
4GB DDR3 Ram

shadows on ultra is a waste. especially when you have 20-40 fps.

ATI HD5850 and getting around 45 fps.
Forced AAx4 AFx8
All setting except bloom and shadows on high.

Forcing 4xAA with RadeonPro seemed to fix the low GPU load issue while improving visuals + framerate at the same time.

Whatever setting I use I'm not getting more than Medium setting looks, and it's bad

I have a Radeon xFx 5970 2gig Black Edition w/ 8 gigs of ram, Asus formula IV and a 120 gig solid state and my computer skippy even w/ medium/high settings...

Posted before but anyways it doesn't make sense, since my 5870 (with or without crossfire) runs super (mostly 80-100fps with ultra and some high), while like the poster above with basicly the same chip (5970) or 5850 seem to have many problems

But anyways this are my settings (catalyst/driver 11.7):
