September 12th Build Crashlogs and DMPs

    We are starting to collect crash dumps from the latest build of RO 2.

    These are located in your MyDocs/MyGames/RedOrchestra/RoGame/Logs folder. They are named .dmp. We need docs only created after the new build in the evening of September 12th!.

    Please post or link them here with a description of what you were doing when each happened. That will help us sort them and prioritize them. Thank you!

    A .log is not a .dmp. In theory both are helpful, but unless the .log has crash information at the end of it, it is not. Please check those before adding them.

    This thread will be flushed out once in a while so we can keep on top of things!



    IF YOU ARE CRASHING ON LOAD, TRY DELETING YOUR .INI FILES
     
    Here are my crashlogs and dmps from giving the new patch a quick test.

    Also, Tripwire, please look into what is causing the Server Browser to crash/reset people's modems/routers. I can refresh the server list initially but if I attempt to refresh again, go to another tab, or even get sent back to the browser after getting 'Server is full' the game resets my modem.

    No game before this has caused my Internet/modem to crash when attempting to find servers. My modem is a Westell 327w.

    After the pach I was playing in-game and suddenly I CTD to the desktop. This has been happening since several patches ago.

    Attached are 2 crash dmps and logs.

    The number of matches I can play without crashing is growing, (it's about four now) but still need memory/assets to be purged between maps and memory leaks to be plugged please. Otherwise the game will eventually run me (and most people) out of memory and crash.

    However, tremendous increase in stability and performance for me after this patch. Thanks guys. :D

    Game froze on Pavlov's, probably due to a memory issue, but saw severe physics errors in launch log which occurred during crash:

    /edit Also noted that the ROGame.exe process was steadily increasing in memory usage during the freeze, from about 1GB up to 1.2GB when I killed it.
