No, but that reminds me, I've often respawned with a rifle despite being a machine gunner. I spend the life with my bolt action or whatever, then respawn with my MG after catching a bullet.

You can try the MKB 42 on some FF servers. I tryed it yesterday, teameuro FF server if I remember correctly?
It seems like a devastating gun atleast short to midranges.

This has happened to me once. I was playing on the Russian side when I was auto swapped. I happened to spawn with the prototype. It was pretty ownage too. Best gun I've used in the game. Eventually, the game wouldn't let me spawn untill I changed roles.
