I about pooped myself when you added it. Literally. I have one sitting on the shelf over there. But, if you've ever loaded and unloaded one, it takes freakin' fooooreeevver. So in the game, about the only thing I could say that would make it more realistic is increasing the reload time to about 15 seconds (or more!) but at some point, it's not gonna be fun anymore, so probably 15 : )

I was extremely excited about the nagant revolver too! It's an awesome gun. I agree with you're sentiments that it would take quite long to reload in reality but they have to balance it somehow so leaving it as it is might be the better choice.

You could simulate the double-action trigger pull too, by requiring that you smash the mouse with a hammer in order to fire it.
