Setting FOV more than 70 can lead to exploit

When I set my FOV to 85 yesterday I saw that when looking to the top left and right corners of the screen near a wall I was able to see on the other side of that wall when looking to the right or left. I imagine that setting it to 90 would be even worse!

I didn't realise it was because of the FOV but I noticed many outside walls of buildings being able to see through them and also a ton of inside walls, this is only when I'm pressed up against the walls though.
