your friend is a *****, seriously? not care enough?? twi has done already so much for the pc community, compared to treyarch/dice in their games.

Damn those look good, especially the faces, which have looked kind of awkward in previous screenshots.

About the blood spray thing, I watched the video, and I can't see any spraying or mist until seconds after the shots, when it starts to pour out of him. Also, don't watch that video, made me really sick.

Great screenshots, maxim ironsight looks top-notch. Here, compare it to real one, I took this photo 2 years ago at Gerhard's Fort Museum in Swinoujscie .

I must admit I would have prefered the voices from whatever nation the soldiers hailed as it was in OST.

Having said that I can clearly see why this decision has been made with accessibility in mind. However I see no reason why it couldn't be made an option now, or later when time permits?

If not, and there is enough interest maybe someone could do a mod?

Me..? Its not my imgagination that is selective. Because in the sentence above the one I quoted you say.
And i'd like to add that games have another advantage over movies and books, because with those either you are reading about it (which makes it quite distant unless you have a lot of imagination) or simply watching it.

Personally, I get way more (to use a popular phrase on these forums) immersed in a well written book about a skirmish or battle than I do playing a video game or watching a movie precisely because my imagination can go places that video game developers and movie directors can't.

Either way, no book, movie, or video game can put you in the boots of the footsoldier where you can 'experience' it first hand. Pixeled gore or no gore. Shooting avatars for 20 minutes sitting in the air conditioned comfort of home =/= laying in a rice paddy in a monsoon for days at a time. Sorry.
