What others write about RO2

One of the recent Bash&Slash podcasts (Crosshairs #14 i belive, the one before Ramm went on) mentioned that RO:HoS has been getting a lot of buzz and discussion in various communities, and that a lot of webcomics have commented on HoS, have anyone seen that? got a link? because i haven't seen it in the comics yet..

Actually RO2 has something common with MMORPG

Player character progress - check
Player does something to be better, gain awards, levels, to reach Hero status - check
There is some kind unlock system - check
Player can upgrade his stuff - check

It isn't classic MassiveMO game cause max number of player on one server is 64, but MMORPG's raids or instances are for 10-50 (I don't know correct number there) players too.

+ that what Zets said.

actually mmo doesnt mean dungeons and dragons it means massivly multiplayer so its not at all like a mmo. it has rpg (role playing game) qualities but not mmo qualities.

and hopefully we can make a statement that us pc gamers don't want console ports.

Is it coincidence that there is a "Hans Ludwig" registered on Stormfront?

I think not. :D

In case you're not being sarcastic, it's fairly likely, since I'm pretty sure our Hans Ludwig isn't the original one. If it's a different guy on that site, they probably were both inspired by the U-Boat captain: http://www.uboat.net/men/witt.htm

That's the Elephant in the room right there, it's a bit funny actually, but i see RO2 used a bit like a boogey man on the forums of big AAA titles, where users will hold it up and say "see this? we still want PC games damnit, and if you wont give them to us, we'll take our buisness elsewhere" :D

And RO2 is an :IS2: elephant that will crush every single PC port game out there, as an :IS2: does best.

RO2 will go :IS2: on those game's rear ends.

TBH, I have never seen anybody named "Hans Ludwig" except that guy. And that's in 14 years of online-gaming.

Chances are high that this is our Hans Ludwig, especially as his grammar and choice of words fits the posts done by the Stormfront guy.
