two days ago I had the pleasure to participate in conference "Game Day 2011" in my city. Representatives from couple game companies were talking and representing topics about game development, balance, animation, licensing etc etc.
Guy from "The Farm 51" company was talking specific about UDK and UE3 engine. Topic included most informations for independent and modding developers. Speaker was asked about what are the most successful ex-modding companies and UE/UDK games. He answered: "The Ball" and Tripwire Interactive company.
Small thing, but it's good to know that people remember about our devs
