    Hello everyone!

All the entries are in for Phase 1 of the Rising Storm 2: Vietnam Modding Contest! These have given us two great mods (featuring a total conversion and a new game mode) and more than 20 new maps! We are looking forward to judging these entries and, as you've come to expect, we want your feedback as well!

Starting next week (or this weekend if all goes well) we will have several servers hosting this content available for players to check out the amazing work the modders have put into Phase 1. Players can subscribe to all entries via this workshop page (simply click on "+ Subscribe to all"): http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1188918380

Our goal over the next few weeks, with your input, is to judge all of these entries so we can award out $12,500 in prizes. The top three maps from this phase will earn $5,000, $2,500 and $1,000 respectively and there is an open prize pool of $4,000 for non-map mods to earn from.

Maps will be judged generally on the following criteria:
    • Design and Gameplay (overall fun)
    • Visual Quality
    • Creativity (use of non standard features or gameplay)
    • And overall Polish/Completeness

While this ongoing we encourage you, the fans, to check out each of these entries and vote up your favorites on the Steam Workshop. This will help our judging team take an extra look at community favorites or spot flaws that may otherwise be missed.

We are also keeping an eye on Phase 2, which will close 15th January 2018. And for any modders or prospective modders who have more recently joined the community, you do not have to have entered Phase 1 to participate in Phase 2 for a shot at its $27,500 in prizes!
