Interim Beta Follow Up

    Hello everyone, today I want to talk to everyone about lessons learned from the interim Closed Beta Waves and additional steps we are taking moving forward.

    With the interim beta's (6.1 and 6.2) we tested target fixes for balance and one specific performance issue. Starting with 6.1 and the balance changes: it looks like they got us close to where we wanted those maps to play out. We'll likely make a few more slight changes around those moving forward. As to the performance issue, it looks like minor improvements were made for that specific issue but more work needs to be done.

    For those of you who may have missed it what we said earlier: our goals right now are performance (across all aspects of the game, which includes looking for specific spikes that cause problems as well as the overall performance in the game), balance (working on map specific issues as well as system tweaks), and finding and fixing bugs (starting with the most critical and working down the list - with a specific team looking at prone-related issues).

    We have also noted your feedback on the voice work for the game. We are now working towards our second pass with more "intensity" (some lines don't feel as "in the moment as they should"). Once again this is not an overnight process and will take some time as we need to re-write and/or re-record several lines with each of the voice actors.

    We'll be talking more specifics about our work towards these goals moving ahead towards our next beta build (which as of this time does not have a date - we want to make sure many of these are addressed if not completely addressed before the next wave). So stay tuned!
