Too long welcome screen disables KILLING ANYONE

OK New weird problem on the server, tonight one of the servers I host had this problem. As Title says, put this in your welcome screen message, and it breaks it, and you can not kill anyone with weapons, only melee works:

Bienvenue à toi sur le site du clan [TnT] à majorité composée de joueurs français mais pas seulement, nous avons une majorité de francophones

Then it works again. You can kill people with bullets (friendly or ennemy).

This bug is like you activate melee only on the server. Please fix it.

So is there a limit in welcome screen length? If yes you should make sure people do not enter too long text by showing remaining characters limit somewhere.

That is... all kinds of weird. There isn't supposed to be a limit, the scrollbar is intended to let you have as long a message as you like.

Is it an issue with "weapons" in general, or is it with the primary mouse button not being registered, while the alt-fire button is?

On the server you can shoot bullets, but they do not hit people. Try to reproduce it, if welcome screen looks like my screenshot pretty sure you triggered the bug and will not be able to shoot anyone. If you need more (like image url, title, website) for the welcome screen, or the config files of server maybe, tell me, maybe it needs more than this long message.
