Both Pilots dead but I still remained alive.

Hello,

I honestly don't know if this was intentional but it was kinda off when it happened.

So i was riding the Loach on An Lao Valley when my Pilot got shot to death, leaving me in third person for the Co-Pilot to take over the controls but before that could happen, i crashed the helicopter into a tree and ended up "killing" the Co-Pilot.

The crash didn't destroy the Loach but only damaged the Tail Rotor, making my chopper elevate without control. After this i noticed i had zero control over the machine, couldn't even lean forward or backwards. Looked around and saw both pilots dead but i couldn't do a single thing so i kept spinning for about 1-2 minutes in the air.

In the end the helicopter finally came crashing down and exploded but i still remained alive.

I'll attach some pictures with both pilots dead and the aftermath:

Thanks for your time.

Ah. So that's how this happens. Thanks for that. You won't take damage in a helicopter seat if it thinks you're already dead, and that appears to be the issue. It looks like there's a narrow window there where it manages to spawn you back into the copilot seat just after the copilot has actually died, or maybe it's even a case of them dying while your client is still being told about the respawn.

I've had it happen to me in the Huey but could never work out what was going wrong. We'll see what we can do to fix it.

This is still occurring, more with Loach.

It does let you survive crashes however :)

Huey gets some of it.
