I thought I would try my hand at figuring out how to change some of the weapon sounds and found a few different types.
(I have no experience doing any of this so please be patient with me)
I found an odd folder named WwiseAudio with a bunch of WEM files that have bizarre number codes and a ton of BNK files with attached weapon/artillery names (which I have never heard of before) and finally; A separate Audio SFX package with .upk file types and attached weapon names (as well as voices etc)
I was wondering how hard it would be to go about differentiating which files do what and if I am even allowed to change the sound files in the first place. Will the client detect it and kick me? Auto patch it? I just don't know. I don't even really know how I would go about converting sound files to the correct file type for the game.
