US
- .38 revolver, officially given to pilots, unofficially given out like candy.
- Car-15 for specialist classes and TL.
- M14A1, not the highest in number were handed out, but it'll give the machine gunner something other than a 10kg M60 to be able to shoulder.
NVA:
- PPS: probably the most popular submachine gun platforms used by Vietnam
- Vz.58: received from care packages from Czechoslovakia.
- Vz.63: Skorpion (rare) also received from Czechoslovakia, given to bodyguards, would be cool little gun for the radioman!
- Vz.26: Received from China and Czechoslovakia, popular with Viet Minh veterans, would also give NVA a mazine fed GPMG.
conditional LPO-50: used during tet-offense, should only be available on maps where NVA are attacking.
NLF:
- Kr98K: Surplus given to insurgents in the bucketloads by USSR and Czechoslovakia, some were even modified to house 25 round magazines!
- MP40: Popular among all sides of the Vietnam war, restored MP40's were handed out by the USSR in droves.
- MG-34: Popular amongst gun runners for it's use as a versatile GPMG, used as an anti-air on a tripod, and as a general purpose with a bipod.
- RP-46: Belt feed DP-28, could be modified on the fly to feed from drum magazines.
