Steam suggestion/Idea request

I'm not sure whether this has been noticed or suggested, so forgive me for duplicating a request.

We generally have a bad international network connection (local one's OK), so many times the international link dies (or is messed up by our telecom monopoly ). When this happens through a steam upgrade, RO is now unplayable online and offline, until such time one can get back onto the international net.

It's it possible to have Steam/RO revert back to a previous backup version of itself when situtations like this happen.
Maybe the software should only flag it self once the upgrade is completed, cos it looks like it's flagging before it starts and when the upgrade bombs, so does the game. ??

The sequence of events are:
1) Upgrading Steam'
2) Connecting to account 'xxxxx'
3) Cannot connect - network problem -> retry or play offline

Click 'Offline'
4) There is a problem connecting to the internet....

and game exits..

you should just be able to verify your game content to fix any corrupted files

Thanks, I'm new at this game.

Not to worry, I did a bit of fiddling and got it to work offline without steam.
I'll wait until I can get online to do the steam update.
