That might still have to do with cpu specs. I'd encourage you to try and find the article Ramm-Jaeger wrote about it. I'm too lazy to find it and link, but it's there.

not in my cases. I clean both out very well. (gpu and spy/malware)The problem can be caused by overheating the videocard or by spy/ad and malware.

You're saying everyone on the servers video card is overheating or has issues with malware? Because when I've seen the ping get like that all of the server players were experiencing the same issue.

Ok it is 2014 and the thing with sh1t ping is still here wtf!?!??
Just bought the game and I love it but still WTF with the pings!?!?!?!?!
In browser it shows 48 and on server it is 120+
Everyone has fcked up pings but some people got them normal 50 60 etc but like 80% of other playuers got 300 200 etc.
And don't tell me it is not my side... in other games it is how it should be 50 48
EDIT:
using set priority to "below normal" trick did the job! My ping is still high 80 76 but it is amazing! Now I can enjoy this beautiful game!
Some people still don't know about it and keep playing with 200+ ping...
