Beta Map Streets of Stalingrad

I've played the last objective many times and it isn't impossible it just depends if your team sucks and a well placed arty can make or break a game for the Germans.

Next update will be tomorrow.

Lowered Soviet reinforcement timer to 23s from 30s.
Lowered Soviet artillery timer.
Minimum capture time for last objective is now 65s from 40s. Increased cap time for all caps
Removed lock down from all other objectives other than last.
Opened up another path for Soviet last spawn so they can flank along the main road.
Added marks on the map identifying key points.
Fixes some bugs

I had a chance to check this out yesterday on RGN. I played 1 round. Here are some of my first impressions:

Played as a German with about 12 players total, which will definitely effect how much you get to shoot at one another.

Likes:
The most striking thing initially is the originality and texture of all those new sounds!

It's big! I like how you've made the map feel much larger by layering tall buildings all around the play area. I get a similar feel from Wolverines "Bridge" map.

The buildings have interiors you really get to fight in with multiple avenues of approach.

There are TONS of places to hide, making it very scary.

Lighting and atmosphere is nice and gloomy.

Dislikes:
Gotta play it a few more times with more people to find stuff. You have to play it a few times to see what needs to be improved.

Update 21st October


  • Destructible walls around tank factory.
  • Moved Soviet tank factory spawn back.
  • Moved Soviet department store spawn back.
  • Moved German final objective spawn further forward.
  • Rearranged spawn protection hopefully allowing Soviets to move back safely and not spawn kill Germans.
  • Added some cover in A & B objectives.
  • Added cover nodes, in the department store you can climb through the bottom windows.
  • Removed lock down on all objectives

[SK] fun and fairplay Team already love this map which is going to be a Great One for those who like Historic realism . We shall play it and make it known by others french Teams . Very good work , Psycho ! thxs !
