As a person who frequently mods Skyrim more than play it, I love the ENB series the game has. So I thought it would be cool if I could do the same thing for Red Orchestra 2. I don't think you can use ENB files with RO2 so I decide to use SweetFX. This preset focuses more on sharpening and saturation to make ro2 look more detailed and colorful than normal.

Graphics Tweak Mod (Optional but recommended) - http://forums.tripwireinteractive.com/showthread.php?t=94737

SweetFX file - http://www30.zippyshare.com/v/28690652/file.html

Image Album to show before and after pictures, all options are maxed out, along with Graphics Tweak Mod on also - http://imgur.com/a/K8JxV#15

to install unzip all contents to the C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Red Orchestra 2\Binaries\Win32 folder and it should be done

My Computer Specs

AMD 8350
AMD 290
8 gig ram

Maxes out at 60+ fps, sometimes dip to 45 fps but very rarely

Right Mr Moe, it's one of my settings in SweetFX (Dither function) but if you look carrefuly, you can see more detail with it activated. If you compare well the first screens (Barashka1), pay attention to the tank details, the wood on house behind and the grass.
And another thing... At long range, it's easier too identify friends or enemies. :D

Here is the list of the settings I use with SweetFX:

SMAA Anti-aliasing (smoothens jagged lines using the SMAA technique).
LumaSharpen (also sharpens the antialiased edges which makes them less smooth).
Vibrance (intelligently saturates, or desaturates if you use negative values, the pixels depending on their original saturation).
Dither (applies dithering to simulate more colors than your monitor can display).

Maybe the best way is try yourself with the settings you want or prefere. This software don't need an installation and it is really easy to use (and to delete if you don't like, not necessary to uninstall).

I'm not knocking the software, don't get me wrong and I'm glad its a visual improvement for those using it :D

Personally I'm using a few Unreal Engine tweaks (in the .ini) that I started using about 4-6 months ago. The stock .ini really is set more for lower end machines which is a shame because those few tweaks make the game more visually detailed (especially RS maps) than it is on the stock highest settings and I am very happy with the results.

Should I decide I'd like to go beyond that and try it, I will keep SweetFX in mind :)
