I have read that russian AT soldiers get the PTRS.
A easy and fast way to take out german tanks (tank crews), especially from distance

So give german AT soldiers the same chance!

Gewehrgranatgerat (rifle grenade device) for K98!

Its more difficult to aim and hit a target, especially a moving tank. (curved trajectory)
But allows german AT soldiers to take out a russian tank at distance up to 100m
The rate of fire is pretty slow because the soldier has to reload rifle grenade and propellant cartridge.
Each AT soldier should have 10 shots.

Grosse Gewehr-Panzergranate (AT rifle grenade)
Penetration: 80mm armour at 30 degree angle of impact

Thx :D

@UsF

The Wehrmacht had many types of rifle grenades in service.
(AT grenades against tanks and HE grenades against infantry and some others like propaganda,smoke grenades etc.)

The AT grenade (Grosse Gewehr-Panzergranate) was a hollow charge so it consisted of certain quantity of explosives.
So it was also dangerous for infantry.

The HE grenade (Gewehr-Sprenggranate) had a smaller diameter and a higher range and an effect like a Stielgrante 24 (stick grenade).
It could be thrown like a hand grenade (up to 40m) but it had an impact fuse.

Yes, grenade spam were possible (Gewehr-Sprenggranate in use as hand grenade) but can be avoid by weapon limitation.
A german infantry squad was equipped with one Gewehrgranatgerat. That means one of eight or ten had these weapon.

On a 32 player server up to two times available

@sampsa

The PB 39 kurz had a slightly higher range (125m) and a higher accuracy (equipped with bipod) but a rifleman equipped with Gewehrgranatgerat had a higher mobility. :rolleyes:

Sounds like a giant pain in the rear to me.

Sure, it would be a pain in the rear if you were constantly dodging tanks left and right, but I doubt that will be the case. Destroying a tank is a big deal (or I think it should be), and as such, infantry shouldn't be able to engage tanks willy-nilly. For such a huge reward, there must be an equally big risk.

taking out a tank should be a challenge. get close by exploiting the blindspots and using cover, then use bundle grenades to disable it and finally force the crew to scuttle or kill them.

this rifle grenade would be too easy. aim in general direction of tank, fire.

too easy??

The red team get the PTRS (semi auto). It shoots faster than PTRD and much faster than rifle grenades.
The PTRS has a straight trajectory and a rifle grenade has a curved trajectory so its much easier to hit a tank with PTRS (especially from distance).

Attach Schiessbecher -> unload gun -> load blank -> fire Gewehrgranate -> remove Schiessbecher -> reload rifle

Attach Schiessbecher -> unload one cartridge only by moving the bolt (if its necessary) -> load a single wooden cartridge and a Gewehrgranate -> fire Gewehrgranate -> remove Schiessbecher (if its necessary - you can shoot through - but you have a better sight without Schiessbecher) -> reload rifle (if its necessary - you could use the (4) remaining cartridges :rolleyes:

But Hollow Charge grenade is superior to 14,5mm bullet in terms of penetration and amount of damage done inside tank.

But the PTRS has higher rate of fire and its traget ( Panzerkampfwagen IV Ausf. F2) has a thinner non sloped armour than its counterpart (T34 mod. 42)
