Realism vs Standard Modes

Guys, everyone is asking what is different in Realism vs Standard (formerly known as Relaxed Realism). I apologize for the formatting, I copied it out of a word document. Here is what he difference are:

Realistic

Server Rules Configuration - The server rules will be set up with defaults for Realistic mode. Note: settings not listed can be modified by server admins for this configuration.

  • Mutators: the use of non-whitelisted mutators will put the server in Custom mode
  • Friendly Fire Scale: 1.0
  • Friendly Fire Artillery Scale: range will be set to between 0.1 and 1.0.
  • Friendly Fire Explosive Scale: range will be set to between 0.1 and 1.0.
  • Partition Spectators: true
  • Max Heroes: should be the default settings
  • Melee Only: false
  • Death Message Mode: "Personal Death/Kills" for all game modes
  • Kill Message Delay: 5.0 seconds for all game modes
  • Spectating Mode: Spec_1stPersonOnly
  • Allow Dead Roaming: true for Firefight and Territory, false for Countdown
  • Allow Viewpoint Spectating: true for Firefight and Territory, false for Countdown
  • Firefight specific settings
    • Reinforcement Deployment TimeScale: 1.0
  • Territory specific settings
    • Reinforcement Deployment TimeScale: 1.0
    • Disable Time Limit: false
    • Disable Reinforcement Limit: false
    • Reinforcement Scale: 1.0
  • Countdown specific settings
    • Disable Time Limit: false

Standard

  • Friendly Fire Scale: Clamped to between 0 - 0.5, Default 0.5
  • Friendly Fire Artillery Scale: Clamped to between 0 - 0.2, Default 0.2
  • Friendly Fire Explosive Scale: 1.0
  • Enable Dead To Dead Voip: True
  • Max Heroes: default settings
  • Melee Only: false
  • Death Message Mode: "All Death/Kills" for all game modes
  • Kill Message Delay: Clamped between 0 - 5.0 seconds. Standard defaults.
  • Spectating Mode: Spec_3rdPerson
  • Allow Dead Roaming: true for Firefight and Territory, false for Countdown
  • Allow Viewpoint Spectating: true for Firefight and Territory, false for Countdown

Thanks for the post and especially thanks for keeping the great gameplay and not doing 2 different games with slow-mo aiming down the sight, parkinson sway and fat bastard stamina !

Anyway Realism mode is mosly like an alternative HUD to Standard mode? Would be good to see more realistic suppression (take out the weapon randomly moving around), more realistic weapon sway, harder to aim weapons overall, no bandaging, more powerful bolts, tweaked class limits (more bolts), fewer rare weapons etc. I'm thinking about game balance mostly, less easy gameplay for semi's/smg's and to keep the gamier bits out

So that's what you think about Red Orchestra Ostfront? Many player are asking for more realist movements and stamina setting and I have faith in TW.... you could eventually turn to Bf3 or next CoD... ;)
