Played around a bit with beryl decided it's just a waste of resources so back to standard Gnome again so here is a pic that looks like all other desktop pics I have posted here recently but with a different background

Another day another desk giving a 2 bar setup a try again since I find it hard to find a dock that works well for linux

Yes. I don't like it either, but whenever I click on Start -> Shut down my explorer.exe freezes. I don't know why and AVG and HijackThis can't detect anything.
The shut down.exe works though, so that's what I use.

Yah, I know.
I have AVG installed and I use it to check the harddrive every once in a while and HijackThis is run almost every time I start the pc. I could activate that AVG-Guard-thingy, but my computer is slow enough without it and up to now I never had a problem with viruses. As I said, AVG couldn't find anything so I still don't know what caused my little shut down problem and I guess its guard wouldn't have blocked it either then.
