A new British documentary exposes the secrets of Adolf Hitler's missing fortune, which is estimated to be worth more than 17.5 billion shekels ($5 billion,) the International Business Times reported Sunday.

Channel 5's "The Hunt For Hitler's Millions" reveals that the Nazi dictator squirrelled away a considerable fortune, amassed from image rights, personal appearances and his refusal to pay income tax . . .

The documentary also reveals that Hitler levied a royalty on German stamps that used his image and hid the money away in secret bank accounts.

Never would have guessed he was that wealthy.

I have never heard of a dictator that was poor or just normal wealthy. No matter what their "free" press keeps telling their citizens, centralized system is full of corruption(how else can you have small group of "elitists" to control so many people and need to control the media, to an extend where journalists need to be killed or shut down, opposition jailed, books banned ect.).

I wish people would stop believing and wishing some power politics to run their states/countries. No matter what they look outside and how great their national cause might be. They often speak with so much certainty on complex issues that nobody really knows what will happen, how the economy will react...

I'm not saying aliens stole Hitler's money but... aliens stole Hitlers money! He also issued banknotes made of ashes of Holocaust victims and opened intergalactic technology trade but the aliens couldn't understand him through the ranting in Berlin and called it quits.

But really, is\was there any dictator whom isn't\wasn't poor in genuine meaning of the word?
