I'm not sure if it really is a victory. Look at how many humans and animals got murdered in those 6 years this war lasted. German government today celebrated the 8th of May as a Day of Liberation. I'd say that Germany was not liberated, simply defeated and occupied, just what Germany did with whole of Europe. Germany also came to the USSR as an occupant.

Russia celebrates the defeat of Germany not the liberation, don't you AAZ?

I just wonder if humanity actually learned something from WWII or if we are still so easily motivated to invade another country and murder everyone.
