Dragon's Dogma: "What a horrible night to have a curse"

So yeah, been playing this and I died a few time which is refreshing after the D3 trial in which I did not die once. If you are wondering how hardcore this is if you go into water (or have it fall onto you from above) it will dose out you lamp forcing you to relight it and speaking of water fairly early on someone will ask you to go into a well to kill some scary monsters...

DONT GO INTO THAT WELL!

...unless you have a wizard who can give you weapons fire damage and willing to do a fair bit of work those horrid things WILL rape you. If you are wondering around and see things that look badass and if you get feeling that they are hard kill them and not carry on or outright flee because there is ALWAYS something more nasty behind it.

Hm, time for a tale, as I finally got to the capital I look at the notice for job, so I grab the escort quest then checking on the map where it ended and then I picked a road for me to travel along as I get a bit along after killing some wovles I get to a fording but I notice some shimmering shapes. After I killed those lizards I then move further into the forest coming across a armoured orge, I was around lvl12 so well under lvl but I manged to kill it but the battle took so long it had turned to night. Night is horrible, the hardest thing about this trek was the bandits, they are fast, come in numbers and supported by archers and mages but I defeated them all... well... until I saw a high level Chimera which forced me to flee towards a cliff where the road leads to. With my health being low I started to dodge any bandits I could make out in the dark until it started to turn dawn. I saw the path along the cliff with a castle in the background with an Orge in the foreground, that when it hit me, I was on the same route as that guy who did OXM preview but I powered through everything he got stuck on, so I kept on going even though the Orge threw my main pawn off a cliff and I reached the castle finding it main door locked I check the map and then I saw that I went the wrong way. I hurried down the cliff road again making my way to the capital without my tank to protect me, more easy in the day but it was so tense seeing how those how lizards had respawned...

So even getting lost is an adventure in this game, I think I am in love...
