in NW I made a reskin for Russian artillery to make them Guards artillerists, for my regiment since I'm the leader of our artillery detachment. I'm fairly confident nobody but me uses it.

Although I'm not a big fan of that particular period, I must say the skin looks pretty slick. Did it involve more extensive work with the files, like adding new details & bumpmaps and whatnot, or was it just a recolour?

Yeah, I had to create extra textures because they were being shared before, then I moved some meshes around (from content already in the game, granted) and then edited the specular and bump maps to correspond with the changes.

By the way, downloading DCS World as we speak but does anyone know is there any more free flyable planes other than SU-24? I would really like to fly a SU-37, but sadly I can't find anything about that.

Not sure if serious, as there's no Su-24 in DCS and neither an extremely experimental aircraft like Su-37 fits in it's "study aicraft" scope.
