Why doesn't Tripwire "cash in" Calamity and release it for PC?

I almost forgot this game exists as I never played it.

I backed Ouya and I don't have it. I almost bought it once, when Ouya tried to get me to buy games by giving me a five dollar credit.

Tripwire almost always makes very eccentric choices, which an outside person cannot really understand in my opinion.

Anyway I would love to see a proper steam version of this game.
