Hi. I'm playing the game through Steam, i'm using Linux Mint 14 MATE, and for i don't know some reasons, i can't set the game into french, even if i've selected french (right click on my game>propreties>language tab).

If i'm trying to put it back to english, nothing happens. If i'm changing back to french, steam is downloading files again.
If i'm launching the game then, it's still in english...

I tried to uninstall and reinstall Killing Floor many times, with no success.

Then, i moved in home/~/.steam/steam/SteamApps/common/KillingFloor/System.

I try to edit the Default.ini and KillingFloor.ini.
I changed the line "Language=int" to "Language=fr", then "Language=frt", and "Language=french", but the game is still in english.

I even tried on /home/~/.killingfloor/System, it's unsuccesful...

I must precise that i have .frt files on my "system" files of Killing Floor, which mean that the translation files must have been downloaded.

So my question is : How do i set the game into french? Sacrebleu !!

By the way, why are there windows files in the linux version ?!
Core.dll ? d3dx9_26.dll ? and even a KillingFloor.exe ?!!

Well it looks like the linux version is english only.

I tried the KillingFloor.exe which is in my system folder with wine, and the game was in french.

Shame on you, Tripwire

I think its not problem...
look here

Projekt/Group is called "Hidden".
Guy/s make locales, but only for Polish Language.
Here at list exist "Killing Floor"

I think it's all for Windows, but files have ".run" extesion, not ".exe".
So maybe you have to write to this guy, to make/remake locales?.
