As the title says, when I load killing floor for some reason my keyboard starts cutting out. Killing floor is the only game that I have recently played that does this and it only recently started (about 2-3 weeks ago) sometimes it does it every few minutes and the game is playable but other times it will do it many times in the space of a few seconds making it completely unplayable.
Things i have tried:
Switching the USB port the keyboard is plugged into
Messing around with the settings (turning off full-screen and widescreen, changing the resolution, turning down the settings ect)
Validating the files through steam
restarting my computer
Updating my keyboard drivers
The only simple thing I can think of that I have not done would be trying a different keyboard but I am unable to do that at this time
The keyboard I am using is a Steel-series Apex
PC specs:
CPU-HexaCore AMD FX-6300, 3763 MHz
Motherboard-ASRock 970 Extreme4
GPU-NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 (2 GB)
