Server Login to your KF server through Web Admin IN-GAME in Steam

Okay, so sorry to revive a dead thread, but I've gotten the Killing Floor part to work, but now I want to add the Darkest Hour server, so that I can moderate it as well. Thing is, I'm not sure how to do so. We use gameservers.com, and the setup isn't the same. Is there anyway I can use this mod for DH as well?:confused:

just duplicate step 2 by copy/pasting from the starting "<a" tag to the closing "</a>" of the link to add as many admin pages as you want, replacing red and green with the proper address and name, ie.:

Code:
[COLOR=Yellow]<a[/COLOR] target="_blank" href="[COLOR=Red]http://YourName:[email protected]:8075/[/COLOR]">
<span style="font-family: Arial;">[COLOR=Lime]KF WebAdmin[/COLOR]</span>[COLOR=Yellow]</a>[/COLOR]

[COLOR=Yellow]<a[/COLOR] target="_blank" href="[COLOR=Red]http://YourName:[email protected]:8075/[/COLOR]">
<span style="font-family: Arial;">[COLOR=Lime]some other WebAdmin[/COLOR]</span>[COLOR=Yellow]</a>[/COLOR]

[COLOR=Yellow]<a[/COLOR] target="_blank" href="[COLOR=Red]http://YourName:[email protected]:8075/[/COLOR]">
<span style="font-family: Arial;">[COLOR=Lime]yet another WebAdmin[/COLOR]</span[COLOR=Yellow]</a>[/COLOR]

Yeah, I tried that, but the admin site for DH is different from KF. It isn't in the same format. For example, our KF server is MYNAME:[email protected]:8075, but the DH server is like www.gameservers.com, and then on the front page it asks for name and password. I'm not sure how else to explain it. >_< I'm assuming at this point that it just might not be possible through the web-host we're using.

Sorry to reopen this thread. Im not a noob when it comes to moderating servers. Ive modded website servers, game servers from counter-strike to day of defeat but never a kf server. Ive followed all the tutorials I can find to get the webadmin to work but everytime I try to login with my username and password it just refreshes like its the wrong password or something. I can't figure out what the issue is.

OK, i figured it out. I managed to bind my custom html page to CommunityGroupSearch section of url_list.txt. It's pretty useless button imo (searches community groups for the game you play at the moment). Now when you press Game Groups (Upper right corner of steam overlay) you will get your custom page.

Quote from the Steampowered forums, where I've been trying to get someone's attention about this for almost 2 months now...

Yep, the July 12th Steam client update (http://store.steampowered.com/news/5823/[url]http://store.steampowered.com/news/5823/[/URL]) messed it up.
I reported this bug during the beta, and 3 weeks later it was still there on release.
I have been making posts in the beta threads since June 23rd, PMed someone from Valve, but there was no response whatsoever. None. Nada. Zip.

Latest post I made about this, in the current beta thread:

Posting this bug for the 5th time now, in almost two months:

Since July, the UT2004(-based) Webadmin hasn't been working in the Steam browser.
I repeat; it does not work anymore in the Steam browser.

I've also received a PM from someone having the same issue, but this time with the Killing Floor webadmin (UT2004-based as well):

Anybody out there?

This is getting quite ridiculous, almost as if it's getting ignored intentionally (please, prove me wrong).

WebAdmin still works inside Steam's in-game interface, but sometimes glitches. You need to click browser's Refresh button several times before it shows you a page. If you still see black screen instead of the WebAdmin page, copy the url and paste it into new browser's window or tab. Then it will work 100%.
