What exactly are the parameters to make this achievement work?

You have to kill 10 animal eating his friend on the floor after he was dead!

The achievement is bugged, it does not register all monsters you kill while eating. You actually have to go for that achievement in order to get it, the best are crawlers as they tend to eat more likely than others.

Ugggh... I finally got it. One of the worst achievements to get since Dot Of Doom.

Did it on WestLondon (Normal),
Wave 1 clots killed my buddy.
Used the M79 to kill them.

i dont even know what i did! first day hillbilly horror update i was playing kf-hillbillyhorror and i just got it by shooting with m79

its not that bugged its just that when you shoot one they come off the body so only a single shot death to the first specimen will count... even if it looks like the're still feasting. thats why the m79 on crawlers works well.

Not really. If a game didn't try new things, then it would get old and dry and only those who don't mind it being the same old same old, would still play. Besides, some of the things they do are actually needed, like things to fix bugs, exploits, glitches, etc.
