As of 6/19/2012

So there have been some major changes to Hell as of late. Here's a list of what I can remember so far:

*Player start moved to a more central location making it easier to reach any trader
*More lighting changes drastically improve gameplay
*About 10 zombie volumes have been removed, including ones over players heads that made the level too difficult for most players
*Three doors added to allow players to hold areas easier
*Fixed something preventing map from recognizing two of the traders
*Reduced emitter count for improved frame rate
*Music changes (slight)
*Fog adjusted for better appearance

I recently realized that I had my brightness, gamma, and contrast settings set to a very bright setting. This means that when I made my maps they were darker for everyone else. I am going through my maps and adjusting them. Hell and DreddStation now have adjusted settings which should make them a lot more fun rather than extremely tough to play. Please give these new ones a try. : )

In all seriousness, that hell map looks reallly good. Any news of whether it has or will be approved for white listing?

News on white listing would be great, I don't think there has been any word on white listing for about 6 months. I would love to have my maps all get white listed so the general player population could have at 'em. As it is however the white listing process is very slow.

Sorry to necro this thread, but I dislike the changes that happened to the "final" of this map, to the point where I want the latest beta from this thread, and to remove the "final" from my server's maplist:

Does anyone have the latest beta? I want the one where it's dark, hard, has no music except the screaming with slight overdrive (I loved that, great ambiance), the lots of body parts falling from the sky, the old spawn where you go through a few corridors and see a no smoking sign (I loved that too) etc. etc.

The final is horrible and much of what made this map cool was lost IMO. Can someone upload the latest beta (3?) somewhere? Thanks.
