Level Design Getting Your Map on the White List

Upvote 0
I have heard that yes, lol, but I don't know what that implies and what to do. I get the impression the equivalent of white list now has something to do with steam workshop... but the killing floor sdk appears to be incapable of communicating with it (e.g. http://forums.tripwireinteractive.com/showthread.php?t=85934). Also, I think I have a problem because I heard a rumor steam workshop had a file size limit of 100MB, whereas one of my textures is 150MB. So I don't know what to do to get the whatever new "perks add points" certification formerly known as the whitelist...lol.

Let me ask, now that the whitelist is gone... which kind of restricted additional map updates past the whitelisting point... how is this handled? Can I update my map willy nilly and still be perks pointing? How is the rollout handled to other servers? I might consider adding music/sounds, fixing a stripper tradder and fixing any unknown bugs.

I release my map on the final release form... question, does it have to be on steam workshop to get perks?

In order to use and level perks, your map must be a .rom file, preferably with spawn points for specimens and players.
