Level Design Autogenerating path nodes.

Personally what I do (not sure on others), i'd do the map piece by piece. Do the pathing (just for purposes at the time) as standard as possible. Once you're finished, you can then adjust as you play test the map. Adjust as you please and I believe it saves a lot of time but also it helps.
This pretty much. I get each entrance and exit to an area and a make a grid with pathnodes spaces out about 256-192 UU apart.

For your situation I'd have to say copy and paste will have to do... That's pretty much what they did for KF-Farm.
