[ZED] Female Fleshpound

ok.

Gartley has gone/is going to be unavailable for a couple of weeks. Since the most of the remaining work is on his end, you'll probably won't see any updates until he returns.

He is also currently working on the voices as he has already found a voice actress.

I'm cleaning up some of the crappier animations, so any feedback on those is always appreciated.

Thanks for the update, It definetely does help :)

And as someone who meets her almost everyday, the only thing, animation-wise I'd have to say is she looks funny when raging towards me at full speed, like the footsteps aren't wide enough (like someone running with their shoelaces tied together, or someone with very short legs).

Other than that I think something that sets her apart from other zeds is her actual skin, all the other zeds have scars, she looks like she was freshly dipped in purple silicone. But hey, maybe that exoskeleton has some skin regen features :) If that was intended, just ignore me :p

It's been a couple of weeks and as you have been all so patient here is the next update! :D


V0.8 Changelog

Animations refined
-Door bash
-Headless walk

Texture Updates
-Skin texture was made dirtier
-Eyes are now emissive for the creep factor
-Red lights now more red.
-Metal less specular.

Custom Audio
-Krista Kangas (http://kristakangas.com/) provided the voice of the FFP.
-Movement/effects sounds.

Note about Voice.
I've purposely left it clean at this point. I plan to modulate in account for the mask. Any feedback or suggestions for further modulation will be taken into consideration.

Known Issues

Some audio levels are too high/low. (I have never come across such an awkward audio pipeline then in Unreal2)
Couple of animations still need refining.
Still clips through door when attacking it.
Download issue with texture file (fast redirect) - Temp fix, rename the file to FemaleFleshPound_T.utx.uz2 (Note the capital P in FleshPound)

I just got her online here and I'm totally amazed, her skin fits much more in the decor. As for the audio, it was totally creepy, later I took the file apart and listened to all the files and yes, million times yes, this is what female rage sounds like, it just needs some sort of Bane filter.

Didn't experience any issue with that somehow.

Hi,

Since the last update I've had people getting their game crashed in batch, sometimes 3 people at a time, sometimes all of them (using scrnmonstersmut 2.22). One of them managed to get me his logs:

Somehow it never happens to me, it may not have any relation but in theses occurrences I was the only one with the karma file installed. This usually happens during wave 8 after a few FFPs have been killed.

Also I noticed she gets stuck a lot more often now, here's some screenshots:

Nobody got any feedback on the voice/audio? I find that surprising.

I'm glad that FFP finally got the voice, so she doesn't messes up with Siren anymore.
Audio effects are good, nothing wrong with them.

But voice... I'm sorry, but she sounds like pissed off housewife, when her drunk husband finally gets home in 3am, and she still isn't decided what to do: f*** him or kill him.

Need better logs than that, you can find the KF log in KillingFloor/System/KillingFloor.log
