Tactics Art to be a "Berserker"

I'm very often see a berserkers with claymore\flares "loadout".

This is my response to all of them:

don't matter what a berserker uses anyway, its so easy to play its not even fun anymore imho. kiting with non zerkers is fun though.

Sure, because it works. The same applies for flare/bowmeds on pat, people do it because it's an easy way to profit.

Regarding your used loadout, I personally would prefer swaping out the axe + musket and going for the Trenchgun or the Hunting Shotgun instead.

If you don't have to be fast, Claymore is great. It's high damage output + range is really nice. I hate using flares overall as I find them as a cheap OP pistol.

Standard: Katana + Axe + LAR/HC/MK23. I just like to use the Claymore once in awhile.

X-bow + flare + katana\machete is my favorite med\bers loadout for the patriarch.

But when people use a flares during normal waves... they make mistakes with them more often and usually as a result - they are die.

With LAR\Musket you have more opportunities.

Just for example. You see before you 2-4 fleshpounds. How you kill them with a flares? (if be a serious, I know how, but it takes A LOT OF TIME).

But at the same time, with a single-piston musket you can eliminate them one by one without any problems (10 headshots on a 6-man HoE. Or just a 5 hs, if you are the last survivor)

Claymore, undoubtedly, the great weapon!.. but it robs you of the possibility carry a katana + LAR\musket at the same time.

Maybe someday claymore will be rebalanced (to 5 kgs), like it was with a desert eagle. It will be expensive replacement for a fire axe. And this is really will give new life to claymore.
But it's all - just a dream

But but but man... THIS IS ART.

If for some reason I ever play zerk (for non pat), it's axe/claymore and LAR. That's a fun loadout for hamming. If there's a FP you just ham it hard, and if you die... you're a zerk, you're suppose to die first.

You have to make sure that both your m1 and w are strong. If your m1 is good but your w is weak, you're gonna have a bad time.

Claymore is sick for corner squatting hordes of trash and it's always fun to yell 'FREEEEEEDDDOOOOMMMM" as you charge a FP Braveheart style.

But yeah.. like others have said, it's pretty hard to mess up a zerker loadout since almost anything works, lol.

If Duchamp could put an urinal in a gallery and call it 'art', I guess zerking can be called 'art' as well.

It's like "Art to be a Men \ Women" - i.e. manners, habits, strong sides of character, specific skills, etc...

It's not about "Art", that we are seeing in galleries and museums.

I have no idea what makes the videos so special. For people who maybe don't know the game well or don't play that often it might be looking like a professional is playing. But it's just a typical Berserker video. It's nothing special about it. Just take your time to learn the perk and you'll be able to do that as well.
