Is there a weapon skin for the m14?

Industry term :

Skin = 3d mesh
Texture = pretty picture that is the material on the mesh

Normal human term :

Skin = pretty picture that is the material on the mesh
Texture = pretty picture that is the material on the mesh

As long as we keep understanding each other I dont see this a s a problem, just know the difference when you start modding or people that are trying to help you might get confused. :)

Personally when I hear "Skin" I see that as the layer at the top (as in texture). Perfect example of this really is the Shiver compared to the Clot. The Shiver is a remodeled Clot but some may class this as a "skin" but it's a model AND texture change.

The layer on a model is a skin which is why you always see everywhere "reskin" as this is a newly textured version of what is out there. It's the outside layer of a model.

Remember, this is my personal opinion and it seems that this is the best way of explaining why "skin" doesn't refer to a model in any way.
