KF Fire bug

true but you need a mac hell any other gun would do just to have the extra ammo to kill and add damg to the sc and fp

if you want to avoid being a firebad you gotta pulse the fiyah'

drop him a mk23 next time.

guy like that should stick to clearing trash. or if you want to give him advice get enough dosh and you get a husk gun / mac for trash. husk gun's a good scrake stunners. specially in emergencies where they're raging.

fp's well if you really want to you can go demo and get a m32 off perk and then use it with whatever fits the slot. probably mac 10 and something other off perk pistols but then you'd be going against the firebug's major strengths.

the whole point of the perks in the game is balance so that one class isn't OP and can care of all situations. if you do want perks that can handle everything go sharp, supp or zerk instead. (yes it sounds contradictory but at this point i doubt we'll get any major rebalances)

but the player had over 2k by wave 5 he had his own money to spend on his own guns but he only stuck to a flamethrower

well then he sounds like he's doing everything wrong if you want to "beat" the game in the most optimal way. not to mention fp's and scrakes but basically that loadout means husks are a pain too.

but if he derives enjoyment playing like that... well i think it's cool too if he likes it. extra weight for the rest of the team to carry.

now what the heck were you thinking at the time?

NOPE.

One of the most important rules about sc and fps on higher difficulties: don't engage it, if you can't kill it on your own. Especially if you're firebug or demo.

yes i know its not a good ideal to rage the sc and fp's but we had no sharps or zerk to wave 7+ and when you only have one ss with aa 12 and the other ss with combat shotgun you add with whatever damage you can..right?

Kindly inform them that shotguns are best used with the support specialist perk.
Think he meant Support Specialist when he said SS. Weird I know but some people say it.

Kindly inform them that any Support Specialist playing suicidal or Hell on Earth without a Hunting Shotgun is inviting failure.

Regarding the Firebug, I agree with everyone else, if he's got ammo left at the end of the wave then flamethrower only is fine, but he DEFINITELY should not be engaging the Fleshpound. Fire barely does any damage and can often make it harder for others to kill it.

true but he always had no ammo, and when i asked why he didnt have mac or revolver he said he didnt have dlc for revolver then said the mac 10 was a s**t gun and that he will never use it as fire bug

That dude don't know jack, MAC-10 is the bee's knees.

I'd say that applies to all difficulties, but tell that to the randoms I play with.

Wow, you were completely screwed anyway.

Kindly inform them that shotguns are best used with the support specialist perk.
You people that think SS stands for Sharpshooter are weird.
Support Specialist is two words while Sharpshooter is one, so representing Sharpshooter as SS is more unconventional than doing it with Support Specialist. Also Support Specialist has more letters and thus is more in need of an acronym. Besides, Sharpshooter can just be shortened to Sharp.

I may or may not have read every single instance of ss on this forum incorrectly...
I doubt it, I think most people use SS to mean Sharpshooter, but if you're not sure, look at the context, that usually will tell you which one they're referring to.
Wait, does this mean I have credibility now? WOOHOO :D
But yeah, most people do use SS to refer to the Sharpshooter. I just think it makes a lot more sense if it refers to the Support Specialist.

Dude is being silly. Mac-10 is one of best guns in KF. Put it on semi auto then just tap the trash zeds with 1 one bullet, and it takes care of them most of the time. Saves a buttload of flamethrower ammo too. Flamethrower is for when they get too close and then you just spam fire until everything is dead.
On hard, at least, you can kill just about every trash zed by 1 shotting them and running, letting them burn. Bloat needs a headshot if you want to one shot them, but most of the other zeds can die from a mere leg shot and burning, with the exception of the husk because he's fire resistant as far as I can tell.
