PC Perk Levels not staying

I've been trying to level up my swat perk. This is the third day in a row now where the new levels haven't stayed.
Three days ago I leveled from 4 to 6. Yesterday my swat was at 4 again. I played a bit and got it back up to 6.
This morning I played and my swat is again at 4! I played in one map till I got to level 7....When we switched to a new map, my swat was back at level 4 again!
This is becoming a major pain. Is tripwire aware of this issue?

This is on your end, 99% sure.

You have connection issue with Steam network (or have modified the Steam cloud option in game properties) or you're playing on modded servers (check filter in servr browser), or your profile file is corrupted, for the later, contact their official support by opening a ticket.
