PC Alt-Fire with dual pistol setting is broken

When you tick or untick the Alt-Fire for dual pistol in Gameplay settings, it simply has no effect. The old system when alt firing in game with the the alt fire key is the one working now (this system was removed, I though, when the Alt-Fire for dual pistols setting was added to the game).

So am I wrong? the old system was never removed? or the settings does not work with dual 9mm?

Just tested - It seems the menu setting is for the default mode, which only applies when picking up dual pistols.

While owned/held, whichever mode you manually set last with the altfire key is the one remembered (per weapon when swapping between multiple duals, so you can have different modes with different guns as you swap between them) but the menu option is for what mode they start in when you first get them.

If you drop and pickup one of the pistols (or sell and buy at trader), it changes to the menu option regardless of what you manually changed it to ingame.

Ok thanks for pushing more tests, OK that makes sense then.

edit: I though this was removed and only the menu setting was used now.. was it? was it re-added? don't remember the changelog about that.

The alt -fire settings for holding duel pistols was never removed, that I recall.
