Server Server Crashing, non-existent map request

I run stock KF2 servers (up to date with no custom maps) with takeover enabled. My understanding is these are used by matchmaking to provide group play. My concern is that these servers eventually crash. The logs indicate that somehow the servers are being asked to play custom maps which aren't installed on my servers, for instance, KF-WaterOnMars. This happens both when I have servers up at home (with blazing fast connection) or in a virtual box on Azure.

When takeover is not enabled this never happens and the servers seldom if ever crash. Any ideas? Is a bug fix needed?
 
Update.... I loaded 8 of the most popular custom maps and crashes have gone down substantially. However just this morning 2 of 4 servers crashed within 1/2 hour of going up. In this case the maps not present were KF-Cube and KF-GrooveYard_HALLOWEEN. I believe this error exists in the matchmaking process where the user does not correctly select the type of server to search for, that is, searching for a custom map in a stock server with takeover enabled. The server does not know how to respond to a bad request. This could be fixed on either the matchmaking or the server side. Tripwire, please fix! Thank you.
