So as I just found out from one of my customers at my GSP, their server didn't want to start at all (wasn't responding). While looking into it (manual start), I had an error stating that a file consisting of 'msvcr110.dll' was missing.

If anyone else has this problem, do this.

1.) Go to this link here:
http://stackoverflow.com/questions/...se-msvcr110-dll-is-missing-from-your-computer

2.) Download the 32 bit or 64 system download.

Do i have to reboot the system? got other services running that i'd rather not interrupt, and i installed the libraries and still get the same error.

EDIT: NVM, i was being stupoid, and installed the libraries in the wrong computer (a virtual machine, to be more precise, LOL).

Too many VM's!

I installed in the correct machine and worked like a charm, THANKS.

Sorry, was at work. Glad you got it working!

The installer is already in your servers folder tree. Running <kf2-server-root>\Binaries\Redist\vcredist_x64.exe should do the job.
I didn't know this but also, that one is for 32 bit only. Wont exactly work for 64 bit that I know of.

The one that I linked too is for 64 bits (that is why it has the x64 postfix :p).

It's always best to use those that come with the server installation, because then you know for sure that you are having the redistributable which the server was build against. Best change of interface compatibility. A secondary download doesn't really guarantee that.

Never the less, your thread/post is very helpful for those that run into this issue :)

I you didn't know this is because you are not subscribed to the TWI Server Admin mailing list, I highly recommend you to subscribe here in the part called "Subscribing to Serveradmins": http://list.tripwireinteractive.com/mailman/listinfo/serveradmins_list.tripwireinteractive.com

Then you will receive mails to warn you about TWI stuff for server admins ;) here is a recent example (I guess you can see this without being subscribed): http://list.tripwireinteractive.com...ripwireinteractive.com/2016-April/001608.html
