Server Redirect compression

I'm curious if Tripwire going to finally allow the admin to enable file compression. Currently we have custom maps of 300MB. Impossible for players to download these maps without (fail download, connection lost, etc ...) for the game. It become urgent to act to take advantage of maps offered in the workshop.

I'm not sure if they still care about custom content outside of Steam Workshop, but that would be a shame if they do not improve it because most custom content is not on Workshop, also mods and big maps really suffer from not having compression.

TWI, support your modding community, allow compression for external redirect servers.

18 months KF2 that exists. It is time TWI delete fingers buttocks ;)

Users on Steam have 1GB space for whole account if I'm not wrong. Create two big custom maps for KF 2 (with custom assets and textures like Groove Yard map) and you're done. This is why most custom content will not be on workshop, and why redirect needs in my opinion as much attention as Workshop.

It is you game, your decisions.

The community really counting on you guys. Give us the possibility to compress data as kf1 with your next update. Our custom folder "http redirect" contains 645 mb of data between mutators and characters. We have many future projects and we are forced to limit the increase in data.
Which does not help when we add custom maps
