Console Dying from nothing Bug

I was in this game spectating and was perplexed as to what happened - seeing this viewpoint has me facepalming, what happened and why?!?

My gut says this is likely an invisible bloat mine. However you can help by getting a reproduction case. When it comes to most bugs, a 100 % reliable reproduction is the best way to actually figure out what is happening and apply a fix.

but one mine wouldnt be enough to just kill outright... And the phantom mines only happened during trader time 99.9% of the time.

Guessing: Can this death be tied to the reports of player playing on linux servers randomly dying?

For the record this was on PS4 - as for phantom mines, those are always fun...
