Console when are you gonna fix the foster swap bug?

i bought mrs foster, which i'm regretting now, because the game randomly decides that it wants me to use mr foster instead. i don't. are they gonna fix this or what? if i pay for something, i wanna be able to actually use it without any issue. i don't think it's asking too much.
