Killed the Patriarch before he healed and didn't get the trophy? Video included.

As the title suggests I just killed the Patriarch on Catacombs without him healing and the trophy didn't pop up. As the video shows I was playing on normal with 4 waves and we never let the Patriarch heal, I cut him off out of pure luck to reroute him into the group where he got finished off but he never healed. The official description for the trophy doesn't state what difficult, map, or wave length. Just kill the Patriarch before he has a chance to heal, I did that, where is my trophy?

As the achievement works right now, the person that get credit for the killing blow (get the Dominator award) get the achievement. We realize this isn't as clear as it should be and are looking at the achievement.

Getting the final blow isn't a very good condition to unlock it, it takes teamwork, granted my group defeated him was all random players. I feel if you all do decide to rework the achievement that it becomes group wide, it stings knowing that I was sole savior of the achievement, preserving the chance for the group after I got separated and cutting him off, but finding out that in the end it didn't amount to anything for anyone involved minus the Demo player? That hurts me in ways the Zeds can't being to imagine.

I agree. everybody has to contribute do down this boss before a heal. Most weapons seem ineffective against it and to try and be the killing blow is almost luck. In all of the times we downed the patriarch, we only downed once before he healed. Once. This is terrible the way it works now.

Got it today. Had the Patriarch trapped in a narrow hallway on Hostile Grounds map. 3 on each side so he didn't get a chance to run away. With all of the shots fired at him at close range, I shot the eviscerator blade at the right time and got the kill. PURE LUCK. As with other trophies like this, just play the game and you will eventually get it.
