When setting up a mixed stream/cache soundbank that works out of the "Windows" asset folder like MACT_Default, are the stock WWise Stream manager and low-level + deferred hook profiles used, or is there a KF2 specific file that must be used?
posting because I eventually figured it out, and I hate reading old threads with no answers
Stock Wwise I/O stream manager is fine if you keep your .wems in the same folder as the new .bnk
You have to write a custom profile if you store the .wems in another folder
avoid using deferred hook, it's witchcraft
