as a SEA player i find it hard to find a server with good ping, but the AS official servers have very low ping which is awesome but the settings is all normal/medium which is boring since i have leveled up my perks a bit. I tried using the create server thing but it puts me on high ping non official servers, and the matchmaker loves to put me on high ping servers too. Would be nice if when we use the create server feature we "take over" an official server to our settings. Also an option to limit max ping for matchmaking would be great too

You could try going into the server browser and set the filter settings to only allow servers at a certain difficulty and below a certain amount of ping. It will most likely find anything that matches your criteria as long as it exists.

Just be sure if you set it up it runs of on SSD, because it will be a laggy mess if the server is ran from an hard drive.

yeah for the time being i use the server browser but theres only around 4 server per difficulty that have low ping for me, and its full most of the time except for HoE but im not ready for that. Also my pc i just enough to run the game and my internet's unstable so im sure i cant host the game sadly

Official servers have Server Takeover enabled. If one is available, you should be able to take it over with the difficulty settings you want via matchmaking options.
