SG-500 vs Dragonsbreath.

The SG-500 is cheaper, has two extra rounds and seems to be more accurate (but maybe I'm wrong). Meanwhile, the trenchgun is stronger and has DoT, even as a support weapon.
So, take your pick... Both are awesome, but I personally like the raw power of the trenchgun more

and that trench has the longest reload time per shell of all the shottys.... which with 6 shells makes it annoying to use.

SG-500 as a back up on HoE until AA-12/M4 combo. Cheap, strong, more accurate. M4 is my fav.

It hits hard no doubt, but when you are getting overwhelmed and you just have no time to reload while exhausting the whole mag.... it's just not really a fun time

Dragonsbreath also has more base penetration than the sg500. One shell with it can kill much more zeds than the sg500, if lined up right. This makes it an excellent CC weapon.
Sg500 works better against medium zeds (husk, siren, etc) since it has better accuracy and a faster reload.
Neither of them are great against scrakes and fleshpounds, but Dragonsbreath works better in a pinch.

I prefer the Dragonsbreath, it was one of my favorites in KF1. I think the DOT is nicer panicking zeds chasing me and the high stumble of the shotgun is nice. It feels way better for crowd control compared to the SG500 but both are great guns that will last all game.
