Can someone explain Acidic Rounds to me?

I'm getting into playing Field Medic which was a class I loved in KF1.

For solo play Im using all R side, for whatever reason TripWire doesnt like to give a lot of useful info in the skill tree.

I tried looking at the wiki and other posts online, there's a bunch of conflicting info and I was left more confused.

How much damage does acidic rounds do? Does it do more damage with different weapons and enemies?

And also, how does it interact with the Hemogoblin? Does the DOT stack or cancel?

Acidic Rounds does 3 ticks of damage within 1s intervals, for every tick it does as much damage as the instigating weapon but with different type of damage - toxic opposite to ballistic. Clots, Crawlers and Stalkers are neutral to toxic, the rest are more or less resistant.

AR operates on its own, separately from Hemogoblin DOT. Both can exist and the same time.

This wiki should be accurate when it comes to technical stuff

Your name fits, simply explained, thank you!

Seems like it is a lot better than what people make it out to be damage wise. Though I can see how in groups it could make it hard to hit enemies in the stumbling state.

The wiki confused me with the 200 "Acidic Rounds (poison power, add, per hit / DOT tick)". Couldn't make sense of that.

Thanks again for clearing things up.
